I am flying through book four . . . and I can't put it down!!! Have any of you read the series? Or seen the movie? I will hold my thoughts on the movie . . . don't want to spoil it for anyone. But I will say this, Edward Cullen is pretty dreamy ;)
I know pretty much everyone in the free world is reading this and for some reason, amongst others, I'm avoiding it!!! I've heard it very sweet and chaste....can't seem to bring myself to read it yet. We'll see I guess, I've never read Harry Potter either....but LOVE the Shopaholic series for light reading fun. Working on the Count of Monte Cristo...great movie, tremendously long book!!
So glad you are back, have been missing your posts, hope your Christmas and New Year's were bright!!! Especially your first as a married lady!!!
I bought the first two books a few months back and just didn't have the desire to start reading. I picked up book one Dec. 28th and read it in two days. Book two took one day and I immediately went and bought three and four...both read in a day each. That's the reason I held off to begin with, I can get consumed in a story!!
I didn't really get where the 4th book was going at first, but I LOVED how it all wrapped up in the end. Such a great series!!! And yes, Edward is HAWT!
I thought the movie was good, not great. Just hard to translate such intense feelings on screen, you know? Not sure I would've "gotten it" had I not read the book first.
Oh yes, I went through a period where I was incapable of doing anything but reading those books. :) I haven't seen the movie yet. Does that make me a bad fan?
I have also been sucked into the "Twilight" vortex and am currently re-reading the series. And listening to the excellent movie soundtrack. When not otherwise surfing the web for Twilight-related discussion.
I love being in love with a book series. I hate being in love with a book series. Aaacck.
I love the whole series, and yes even the last book even though some didn't like it. I loved Stephanie's style of writing! I was not too crazy about the movie because the book is way better! Where is my Edward?
OMG I loved these books. I read them all in two weeks a few months back.
The only reason I liked the movie was because I liked seing every thing in the book come to life. My poor husband went with me to the movie and had not read the books. He hated the movie. Ha.

I loved these books and definitely thought that the fourth one was the best. I'm waiting for the movie to come to the dollar theater to see it.
I am just about to start the second book
I jumped on the Twilight bandwagon and just got the first book today.
I just finished reading the fourth book! LOVED the entire series!
