I saw this picture on a random website and I am afraid I will forget it - so I am posting it here! I love how the trim is in a bold color. It seems everywhere I go there is bold color on the walls and then the trim is white (thats what our house is going to be) but I love this. Sorry, I can't get the picture any larger.

That's almost identical to what my parents' living/family room used to look like. White walls with deep country blue trim (and even built in book shelves - no fireplace though).
Ironically, now, they have that room painted deep country blue on the walls with cream trim! *Laugh*
I do like that photo though!

I love it. I can't seem to stick to anyone colour in decorating...now I have to add that colour blue to my palate...

I love wedgewood blue - and I think the white with the blue coving and then one blue wall is v. classy in this colour, but contemporary too - go for it!
this is pretty. surprisingly...I've never seen a house around here with a bold color on the wall and white trim. Everyone has white or cream colored walls! LOL! Then usually it's a wood trim...but I'm loving the difference in this pic. Not a fan of blue...I'd do a green probably...but it's looks cute. :-)
