The wedding planning is in full swing. I think I have 5 different wedding checklists and my sister's wedding checklist. I am cross-referencing them because I don't want to miss anything, then I plan on combining them into one master list. am I becoming a bridezilla?
This is a question for all of you newlyweds, married gals, girls about to be married, former bridesmaids, maids of honor, mothers of the bride, etc. . . . is there anything you or your friend/sister/daughter just forgot about? Was there anything that you didn't find on a list and had to race at the last minute? Or perhaps you thought of it after the wedding?
I don't know if its just my personality, but I want to make sure that I have everything covered. So please chime in if you have any suggestions. Don't be shy now :)

Make sure you have talked about the Isle runner, my freind forgot about that and then had to go get a cheap one-- and they always seem to snag. Also, make sure you have thought about how your bridesmaids are getting to the church and from the church. Who will take the flowers to the reception if you are bringing them from the church. Also, who will be at the back helping you get positioned...do you have a personal attendant? Another thing I didn't think about was checking into the hotel earlier that day- since I got married in England, my hotel was locked up by then time we got there and we had to go somewhere else- and our room ended up being very ugly. I am sure you have everything covered...even if little stuff goes wrong you won't care because you will be having such a great time...
There will be things that you forget - believe me! But I was so happy to be marrying my best friend, that I really didn't care! We were having such a good time at the reception that we forgot to do the toast! My sister (the maid of honor) didn't speak up because she was dreading doing the toast because she is so emotional - so it worked out just fine! Before you leave to go to the ceremony site, make sure you have everything you need (hankie, bouquet, rings, etc.) - we actually left the flowers and had to rush back and get them! Hope this helps you out somewhat!
thank you both for your sweet comments - I am going to do my best. You both are right, the day is going to be wonderful no matter what :)
Oh, I have lots to say but not lots of time. I promise I will get to it in the next day or so! I have a whole section on "emergency bridal kit." good stuff. promise I won't forget about you!
Even the most organized planners will get to the wedding day having forgotten something or simply just having run out of time on some things... it's inevitable! I was a nervous wreck the day of the rehearsal because I felt like I had a to-do list a mile long. But once I handed over everything that evening to my coordinator, it was literally out of my hands. Nothing could bring me down on my wedding day - I just didn't care! I noticed a few little mishaps, but I didn't have a care in the world. Biggest advice is just to make sure YOU are not personally in charge of any single thing on your wedding day except yourself. If you don't have a coordinator, delegate every little job to other people so that all you have to worry about that day is you. :-) Best wishes!!!
