Centerpieces

(courtesy of The Bride's Guide)

After reading a post by Darcy (from Martha Stewart Weddings) on candelabras, I was inspired. I think they would make lovely centerpieces. I am going with a vintage/classic/elegant theme these seem to fit that, so I was intrigued.

Darcy, thinks this is an inexpensive centerpiece, however, I have heard otherwise from my married friends. Does anyone know how much they are to rent or have any alternative ideas? I am meeting with my caterering company in a few weeks, but I just want to start thinking about this. I have no other ideas for centerpieces and I haven't seen anything that just jumps off the page.

Wow! I think those centerpieces would be stunning! I am not sure how much they would be to rent. Our reception venue had a lot of stuff on hand, so I just used theirs. I think when she meant they would be less expensive she might have been referring to the fact that there are fewer flowers on the candelabras? Let us know what you decide!

Have a nice day!

Thanks Lauren - I talked to my caterer and I think it will work, but I am going to do a little bit more research :)

Does your caterer handle all the centerpieces exclusively? I'd check with a wedding florist too because they've got tons of rental items and it could be cheaper. Also look online - you can find amazing deals online. The markups on rentals can be crazy - I know some brides who have bought supplies and then resold after the wedding on ebay because it came out WAY cheaper for them.
