Happy Friday!

I hope you all have a great weekend! The future hubster is coming to visit me. He is going to catch me up on Lost. Tomorrow night we are meeting some friends for drinks.

I had both good news and bad news today as far as the wedding goes. Good news - my fabulously talented little sister is almost done with our Save the Dates - they are AMAZING. I was blown away when she sent it to me.

Bad news - my venue requires that I hire a wedding coordinator. I am just annoyed with this, because in my case, most of the "coordinating" is done. Oh well. Fiance is taking me out for mexican food tonight and there is giant margarita with my name on it somewhere . . .

I know its annoying now, but hiring a wedding planner was one of the best decisions I made. It let me and my family enjoy the day without worrying about anything because she handled everything and kept us all on schedule.

You may have your hands all in the planning, but having a coordinator is WELL worth it. Not because you need help planning - because you need help bringing it all together in the end. They take care of all the behind the scenes stuff that you do not want to be bothered with and they think of stuff you'd never think of. I can style a wedding from start to finish myself, but I would hire a coordinator again and again. Think of them more as a logistics manager.

I agree with both Buford Betty and Belle. The best decision I ever made was to have a wedding coordinator!

Let me agree with all the ladies and say it is well worth it. They annoying stuff that comes up and the crazy relatives you have to wrangle for pictures and keeping the scheduled stuff on track are no the job of the glowing bride! You need someone to do that for you! Trust me! I am as type A as it comes and I thank God I had a wedding coordinator!
