More Wedding Business

Before our reception, we are having a cocktail hour. The cocktail hour is scheduled to take place in an outdoor garden. Our reception site won't let our guests in until a certain time, so we need to have a cocktail hour. (Hopefully it won't rain). Here are some pictures of the garden:

I don't really want to do a whole lot in the garden. However, I have always loved the look of white lights. What do you all think about white lights on the trees? Or do you have any other suggestions (that might be less time consuming :-)?

This venue looks beautiful - I always love cocktail hour! The lights in the trees idea is lovely - but if you want something less time consuming, the only thing that comes to mind is small solar lights dotted around the edges of the borders - but with that you don't get the 'starry' effect. Whatever you do at a venue like this is will look gorgeous!

OOOH! I love it!!! I say: only use lights in the trees if it will be fairly dark out. If it's sunny, the effect won't be as great.

It's beautiful! I have to go with 'muffy' definitely use lights if it's dark, otherwise I think it's gorgeous enough on its own!

I was married at a botanical garden and we had white lights in the trees. It looked really pretty.

How pretty a venue! I like the white lights idea, but only if the cocktail hour is at dusk or later. Otherwise the lights might end up looking a bit out of place, Gooluck! By the way, when is your wedding?
